Russian doctor, Konstantin Pavlovich Buteyko, realised that chronic stress causes people to develop an abnormal or dysfunctional breathing pattern, creating a wide range of symptoms because this abnormal breathing pattern creates internal stress on the body.
While it is not always possible to remove the external stress in a person's life, Konstantin Buteyko rationalised that because the automatic breathing pattern is adaptable, it is possible to recalibrate it, reducing internal stress and restoring good health.
The Buteyko Method includes special breathing exercises and principles about physical exercise, eating, sleep, and some other day-to-day activies. It is usually taught in courses that comprise a minimum of five classes taught within a ten-day period. If necessary, additional classes are attended at no extra cost. Anyone from three years old can learn the simple techniques and strategies that are tailor-made into a programme for you.
