Panic disorder treatments

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, deep slow breathing to help reduce the associated hyperventilation, and drugs to mask the symptoms are about as much that conventional treatments can offer for people with panic disorder. Some people reject these ideas and seek refuge in talismans, prayer and rituals in an effort to control these debilitating symptoms.

Whatever choice you make in controlling your panic disorder, try to remember that it is not congenital: it did not occur from birth. Instead it developed over time, and because it is not congenital, it is possible to stop it, or to at least greatly reduce the severity, often just by following a few basic rules.
